1.4318 / 301LN is a low carbon, nitrogen alloyed CrNi stainless steel with higher strength. 1.4318 / 301LN is used in applications that require corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength and good formability.
Because the nitrogen alloy improves corrosion performance, the 1.4318 /301LN provides corrosion resistance in many corrosive environments, similar to standard austenitic CrNi grades
